What is Arbitrairians Cards?

Open packs, collect serialized cards, fill your binder, chase rarities and special versions, and trade with other players.

Some cards exist simply to showcase artwork, screenshots, memories, fan creations, alternate art, special finishes, and set completion. A card does not have to be playable to be worth chasing.

Playable cards

Playable cards can interact with a participating stream. Their rules are shown on the card so players know what they are spending before they use it.

Yes, viewers can mess with the streamer. 😈

That is part of the point. Depending on the cards a streamer enables, viewers can use cards that help, hinder, challenge, inconvenience, rescue, or sabotage what is happening on stream. A card might impose a temporary restriction, force a challenge, give the streamer a benefit, counter another card, or otherwise change the moment.

The streamer controls what card pool and rules are allowed on their channel. Arbitrairians is meant to create interactive chaos, not hand strangers unlimited control of somebody's stream.

What happens when you play a card?

1. You own the card

The card is in your SerraForge/Twitch-linked binder and follows its use policy, such as consume, cooldown, or reusable.

2. The stream reacts

The Twitch extension and OBS browser source can show the card, player name, timer/effect, and the streamer's configured announcer can call it out in chat.

3. The effect sticks around

Timed cards can remain on the active-card shelf until their timer ends. Condition cards can stay visible until the streamer resolves them.

Special cards & chase versions

Cards can have different collectible printings without changing the underlying artwork/rules. Planned special versions include holo/shimmer treatments, artwork-showcase versions, prismatic or frosted effects, and genuinely Signed editions using the credited artist's uploaded signature. Signed/effect versions can be dramatically rarer than an ordinary Legendary while still retaining the card's base rarity.

For streamers

Approved streamers get channel-specific controls: which cards/packs belong to the channel, what can be played, OBS/browser-source presentation, announcer personality, pack/watch settings, and other stream tools. Streamer access stays approval-based even when ordinary player access becomes open signup.
