Atrocity Reforged
Atrocity Reforged is the rebuilt version of Atrocity — same spirit, new engine, cleaner code, and a better chance of not exploding when you look at it funny.
What is Reforged?
Atrocity Reforged is the modernization project for the original Atrocity site. It upgrades the tech stack, restructures the code, and tries to preserve all the original flavor without the old engine creaking itself into dust.
Goals for the project
Reforged is built around a few main goals:
- Make the site compatible with modern PHP versions.
- Clean up layout logic without losing the rotating banners and seasonal effects.
- Move features into a framework-style setup so they're easier to reuse and extend.
It's basically Atrocity with armor plating and fewer duct-tape patches.
What's happening right now
Actively in progress:
- Refactoring templates and theme logic.
- Fixing bugs introduced during the move to newer PHP versions.
- Stabilizing core systems like favorites, events, and sidebar logic.
The goal is to fully migrate gameplay to Reforged once everything feels solid.
