Petcore Framework
Petcore is a custom PHP framework for pet sites — inspired by Mysidia, rebuilt to be sturdier, modern, and kinder to the people building on top of it.
What is Petcore?
Petcore is a virtual pet framework designed to power sites like Atrocity and Feral Rise. It keeps the simple, familiar structure of older engines while aiming to be easier to maintain, safer to use, and much friendlier to modern PHP.
Think of it as a forge-made engine: built out of lessons learned from years of hacking on pet games and adapting old codebases.

- Be easy to mod and extend for other creators.
- Preserve classic pet site structures like shops, adopts, inventories, and mail.
- Improve security, theme systems, and quality-of-life tools over time.
It's built to be a framework you can actually live in, not just fight with.
Project status
Petcore is actively under construction. Pieces of it are already running behind the scenes on other projects, and more documentation will be added as the framework stabilizes.
